A trial for Andrew Obregon is scheduled to take place in September on a total of over 30 charges including homicide.
Obregon, of Bristol, is accused of killing Tywon Anderson, 37, of Kenosha, and leaving his body in Paris. While a person of interest and later a suspect in Anderson’s death, Obregon eluded law enforcement for almost two weeks, leading authorities on several chases. He was captured just over the Illinois border after another chase on Oct. 13, 2015.
In all, Obregon faces 32 charges related to the Anderson case and the time during which he was at large, circuit court records say.
Upcoming court activity for Obregon includes a motion hearing on April 14, a jury status hearing on Sept. 15 and the start of a jury trial on Sept. 26.
