Warning lifted for DeWitt Beach after new test

A swimming warning issued for DeWitt Beach in Silver Lake has been lifted after a new water test, Trustee Roger Johnson said.

A swimming warning was posted for the beach Friday after higher than standard test results for e. coli were received.

    The village website still says the warning is in effect until further testing and the Kenosha News had an article in this mornings paper about it. Has the water been retested?
