UPDATE: Assailants in Lake Shangri-la shooting incident wore masks

The assailants in a shooting Monday evening in Lake Shangri-la wore masks, the latest media release from the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department said.

Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department Detectives continue to follow new leads in the shooting incident on 03/30/15 at 2131 hours in the Lake Shangri-la Subdivision in the Town of Salem, Kenosha County. The 52-year-old male victim is a Kenosha County Resident.  He received a single, non-life threatening, gunshot wound during an incident in a residence in the 22000 block of 121st Street.  The victim was treated for his injury and released. The two assailants wore masks at the time of the incident.  New information is being developed on the possible identities and location of the involved suspects. The name of the victim is not being released at this time.”

At about 9:35 p.m. Monday, deputies and fire and rescue personnel responded to a report of a shooting at a home in the 2200 block 121st Street. “The incident involved a male victim who reported he had been shot by one of two assailants,” Ruth said in a statement issued early this morning.
