At about 9:28 p.m., Bristol Fire and Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a motorcycle crash at Highways 45 and 50 in Bristol.
UPDATE 9:30 p.m. — Deputy on scene reports to dispatch that crash is front of gas station just west of the intersection. A pedestrian crossing the road and a motorcycle involved. Three patients, all up and walking. Westbound traffic being diverted.
UPDATE 9:32 p.m. — Salem Fire/Rescue dispatched to respond with an ambulance. Flight for Life medical transport helicopter also responding.
UPDATE 9:36 p.m. — Both westbound lanes being shut down now.
UPDATE 9:37 p.m. — Flight for Life being cancelled by fire command.
UPDATE 12:39 p.m. May 1, 2013 — Sheriff’s Department announces pedestrian died as result of crash. More info here.
