The 2nd Annual Old Settlers Oktoberfest at Old Settlers Park, 24100 75th St. Paddock Lake begins at Noon on Saturday, Sept. 22 and concludes with the Fireworks Finale at 8 p.m.

Entry to the event is free.

Wiener Dog Races feature Dachshunds and Dachshund mixes vying to be the fastest Top Dog. Registration for the races begins at Noon and the races will commence at 1 p.m. The number of races will depend on the number of dogs registered. There is no fee for participating.

In addition to authentic German food and beer, there will be music provided by the Brew Haus Polka Kings from Noon to 7:15 p.m., and the D’Oberlanders Dance Crew will perform at 2:15 p.m., 4 p.m., 5:45 p.m., and 7:15 p.m.

A Classic Car Show will be held from Noon to 4 p.m.

Children’s games, sponsored by Westosha Floral, will be held from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
