Firefighters from Salem Fire/Rescue and other nearby departments fought a fire at a feed store business in the 1100 block of 258th Avenue, Trevor.
The fire was reported about midnight. Smoke and flames were showing upon arrival of firefighters with flames out the back wall of the building. Radio transmissions indicated that the fire was mostly out except for a few hot spot in about 20 minutes.
Among the other fire departments on the scene were Bristol and Antioch.
UPDATE — Fire being investigated by Sheriff’s Department as arson.
