At 5:45 p.m., traffic is being shut down on Highway 142 for a crash. Paris Fire and Rescue is on the scene.
Flight for Life medical transport helicopter is being called. Estimated time of arrival at about 6:10 p.m.
UPDATE 5:49 p.m. — Traffic being blocked by deputy at Highway 45. Scene appears to be to the east of Highway 45 on 142.
UPDATE 6:32 p.m. — Helicopter has landed and is back in the air. Meanwhile, deputy calling for tow says vehicle will require a flatbed tow truck and the vehicle is 50 to 60 feet off the roadway.
UPDATE 6:43 p.m. — Highway 142 reopened.
