Early results are in for the Wheatland J1 School District’s two referendums in Tuesday’s election.
The Wheatland School Board was seeking approval for an operational referendum to exceed the revenue limit by $625,000 for four years on a non-reoccurring basis and a capital referendum authorizing the issuance of general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $8.45 million for capital projects.
At about 9:09 p.m., results from 4 of 4 polls, which may not be complete, are:
- Operational referendum — Yes 465 (57%), No 352 (43%).
- Capital referendum — Yes 444 (55%), No 367 (45%).
