Bristol Fire and Rescue Chief John Niederer has issued a burning ban for Bristol.
From a news release issued Wednesday:
Effective immediately open burning is not permitted in the Village of Bristol. This ban will stay in place until the U.S Drought Monitor for Southeast Wisconsin reduces the fire risk from high to a lower risk level
