UPDATE: Photos and video from Brighton house fire scene

Here are some photos and video by Earlene Frederick from the scene of a fire that destroyed a home in the 29900 block of 60th Street in Brighton Friday afternoon.

About 12:50 pm Salem Lakes Fire and Kansasville Fire were dispatched to a possible kitchen fire. No one was home and the fire was called in by a passerby, possibly a neighbor. The fire quickly spread and more help was requested. It eventually rose to third alarm. Twenty departments responded from Kenosha and surrounding counties. Some units were on scene for five hours. The house was a total loss. Salem Lakes Fire is investigating.

Among the departments that were to respond according to Kenosha County Scanner Facebook page were Bristol Fire and Rescue, Wheatland Fire Department, Twin Lakes Fire and Rescue, Paris Fire and Rescue, Somers Fire and Rescue, Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue and Newport Fire Department.

    does any one know who I can send some money to try and help,there is never a good time for a house to burn to the ground but christmas time is horrible for that to happen
