At about 3:18 p.m., Bristol Fire and Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding for a report of a crash near the intersection of Highways 45 and WG in Bristol.
Per dispatch: Caller reports a car has struck a tree. Scene is on the north side of the road adjacent to the westbound lane of Highway WG east of Highway 45.
UPDATE 3:26 p.m. — Fire unit arriving on scene reports vehicle has heavy front end damage.
UPDATE 3:29 p.m. — Bristol FD command requests response from Flight for Life Medical transport helicopter. Someone may be trapped in vehicle.
UPDATE 3:31 p.m. — Deputies shutting down traffic on Highway WG at Highway MB to the east and Highway 45 to the west.
UPDATE 3:41 p.m. — Bristol FD command reports patient freed from vehicle.
UPDATE 3:51 p.m. — Patient being transported to landing zone.
