UPDATE: One person dies in Highway SA crash

One person died in a crash on Highway SA Tuesday afternoon.

The identities of the person who died and other people involved in the crash have not been released by the Sheriff’s Department.

The crash scene was in the 24900 block of Highway SA. It happened at about 2:40 p.m.

From a statement released by KCSD at 4:30 p.m.:

The crash involved two vehicles.  The operator of one of the vehicles did not survive the crash.  The operator and an occupant of the other vehicle were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.  The Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s Office is on the scene of the crash (as of 4:30 p.m.). The roadway is currently closed as the crash is investigated.  Further information will be available as the investigation continues. Many Kenosha County Highways are snow covered and slippery due to blowing snow.  We urge all motorists to use caution when driving.
