Wilmot Union High School is closed this morning due to a lack of water.
The problem is being worked on currently (about 8 a.m.), said Daniel Kopp, district administrator.
In February, a water test at the school showed elevated E. coli in the water system, causing restrictions in use of water, but not a closure.
Also, according to the school’s Facebook page:
- There will be Community Outreach Classes at Wilmot Today.
- No practice/games at Wilmot High today. Only teams scheduled to participate will be tennis traveling to Badger and track to Johnsburg.
- The Fitness Center also will be closed tonight.
