Kenosha County Executive Jim Kreuser is inviting people to participate in the DairyAir Dairy Breakfast ride on June 20.

This year, there will be two starting points for the ride:

7 a.m. at Silver Lake Park, 27000 8th St., Salem, for slightly more than 10 mile ride to the Kenosha County Dairy Breakfast at Herda Farms, 4602 State Highway 83, in Wheatland. It is about a 20 mile ride round-trip. The ride is moderately difficult with some hills. People are asked to use their best judgment and participate based on their own skill level. Vehicles should park at the beach area.

8 a.m. at the Wheatland Fire Department, 6331 341st Ave., in Wheatland, for a 1.5 mile (3 miles round-trip) Family Friendly ride to the Dairy Breakfast. Vehicles should park in the grassy area that will be marked with parking signs.

There will also be special bike parking and a tented rest area at the Dairy Breakfast for riders.

Riders who wish to return to the respective starting points as a group will be asked to be ready to leave the breakfast at 9:30 a.m.

A Kenosha County Sheriff’s Squad car will follow the back of the pack for safety-purposes and there will be route marshals to direct riders on both trips.

There is no cost to participate in the ride or to tour the farm. Dairy Breakfast tickets are $6 for adults, children under 6 are free. For more information about the Dairy Breakfast, call 262-206-8149.

Ride participants are asked to register by calling 262-653-2600, or email County.Executive@KenoshaCounty.org. To register, please provide names of riders and contact information.
