Units responding to crash in Paris

At 3:41 p.m., Paris Fire and Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a crash involving a vehicle and a school bus in the 1900 block of Highway 45 in Paris.

Per dispatch: Vehicle is under the back of bus; driver may be trapped in vehicle. Bus driver and the one child on the bus are not reporting injuries.

UPDATE 3:43 p.m. — Town of Salem Fire/Rescue being dispatched for mutual aid. Flight for Life medical transport helicopter responding at request of Paris fire command. Involved vehicles are blocking traffic in the southbound lane.

UPDATE 3:48 p.m. — Deputies moving in to block traffic in all directions. Bristol Fire and Rescue now being dispatched to set up landing zone for Flight for Life.

UPDATE 3:56 p.m. — Flight for Life estimated time of arrival 4:09 p.m.

UPDATE 4:07 p.m — Paris command requesting an ambulance from Bristol FD.

UPDATE 4:10 p.m. — Flight for Life is on the ground at the landing zone.
