Units responding for crash in Paddock Lake

At about 9:20 p.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a pedestrian hit by a car in the 7100 block of 250th Avenue in Paddock Lake.

UPDATE 9:23 p.m. — Deputy on the scene reports that pedestrian is conscious and breathing, but bleeding.

UPDATE 9:32 p.m. — Salem command at the scene requests response from Flight for Life medical transport helicopter. Bristol Fire and Rescue will be setting up the landing zone.

UPDATE 9:48 p.m. — Ambulance with patient at landing zone.

UPDATE 10:10 p.m. — Flight for Life to fly to a Illinois hospital due to weather.
