At about 9:55 p.m., units from Town of Wheatland Fire Department and Silver Lake Rescue are responding to a report of a crash in the 4000 block of 328th Avenue (Highway W) in Wheatland.
Crash was reported by a homeowner who heard a loud noise and then saw a vehicle in their yard. Deputy on scene reports person may need help getting out of vehicle.
UPDATE 10:05 p.m. — Landing zone for Flight for Life medical transport helicopter being set up. Accident investigator being requested.
UPDATE 10:07 p.m. — Flight for Life unable to fly due to approaching weather. Landing zone canceled.
UPDATE 10:09 p.m. — Utility pole damaged. We Energies responding.
UPDATE 10:14 p.m. — Paramedic intercept being called for. Transport will be to a local hospital.
UPDATE 10:15 p.m. — 328th Avenue/Highway W being shut down completely.
