At about 10:25 p.m., Salem Fire/Rescue units are responding to a report of a crash in the 7000 block of Highway 75 (256th Avenue) in Paddock Lake.
Deputy calls for traffic on Highway 75 to be blocked off at Highway 50 and Highway K.
UPDATE 10:33 p.m. — Fire personnel on scene reports single vehicle has hit a pole.
UPDATE 10:57 p.m. — Medical unit clearing the scene and returning to quarters, no transport.
UPDATE 6/2/2012 — Driver was ejected from the vehicle and died. We have a request for more information in with the Sheriff’s Department.
UPDATE 6/3/2102 — Driver identified to us by a family member as Kenneth E. Petges, 51, of Salem.
