Units responding for report of fire in barn in Randall

At 3:46 p.m., Randall and Twin Lakes Fire Departments and Twin Lakes Rescue are responding to a report of a fire in a barn in the 40500 block of 110th Street, Randall.

UPDATE 3:48 p.m. — Dispatch reports that fire started in a bale of straw inside barn. There are no people or animals in the barn. The person reporting the fire was told to evacuate.

UPDATE 3:50 p.m. — Dispatch reports that personnel at scene says barn is now fully involved.

UPDATE 3:53 p.m. — Randall fire command activating a box alarm and other departments responding with various pieces of equipment: Town of Wheatland Fire Department, Salem Fire/Rescue, Silver Lake Fire Department, Silver Lake Rescue. Paris Fire Department is responding to man Randall Station 2 in Bassett.

UPDATE 4:11 p.m. — Alliant Energy responding to scene to assist with utilities.

UPDATE 6:10 p.m. — Salem tanker truck returning to quarters.

UPDATE 6:25 p.m. — Multiple units clearing the scene now.
