The Pat Crawford Big Band will be performing the season’s last “Concert in the Park” at Schmalfeldt Park in Silver Lake at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11.
Following the concert, there will be a Tenth Anniversary “Candlelight Remembrance of 9/11”. Village President Jeff Albrecht will begin the ceremony, which will include Pastor Cliff Hathcock of the Community Baptist Church, Bob Brown, Silver Lake fire chief, and a collection of patriotic music.
The Silver Lake Rescue Squad will be providing their “famous” bratwurst for sale at the concert.
