Twin Lakes Libertyfest is July 1 and 2

Twin Lakes Libertyfest 2011 will take place on Friday, July 1 and Saturday, July 2.

The annual Libertyfest Parade will take place on Saturday, July 2 beginning at  11 a.m. Fireworks begin at dusk on Saturday, July 2.

Libertyfest is a fun filled family event. Food, music, games, and vendors are all part of this 4th of July celebration.

Here’s a breakdown of some of the weekend’s activities:

  • Cardboard Boat Races ~ sponsored by Mad Dan’s. It is never to early to get started on your boat. A registration form is now available in the Chamber office or by clicking here.
  • Hot Dog Eating Contest.
  • Twin Lakes Idol Contest.
  • Paw Fest — This is a new event for all of our 4 legged friends. Proceeds will be donated to a local animal shelter. For more information on this exciting event click here.
  • Painted Rain Barrel Silent Auction.
  • Children’s Fishing Derby on Saturday ~ sponsored by Twin Lakes Bait and Tackle. Children can pre-register for the fishing derby at Twin Lakes Bait and Tackle. All those that pre-register will be entered into a special drawing.
  • The Libertyfest Grand Parade will take place on Saturday, July 2 beginning at 11 a.m. The parade will begin at Legion Park and end at Lance Park in Twin Lakes. If you are interested in participating in this year’s parade stop in the chamber office to pick up a registration form or click here.

Libertyfest is organized by the Twin Lakes Area Chamber and Business Association.
