Battle of the Books continues at Bristol School

The Westosha Area Battle of the Books continued Monday at host Bristol School.

In Battle of the Books, students from school teams compete by answering questions about books they have read. Students on this year’s teams are responsible for knowing 39 books.

Spectators are not allowed in rooms where the battles are held, though Bristol is broadcasting the action from one of the rooms into a remote room for parents. But as a objective member of the media, West of the I was allowed to capture some video Monday of the battles. Here is a rare glimpse into Battle of the Books action:

This year’s battling will conclude next Monday, when a champion will be announced.

Besides Bristol, teams from Salem, Riverview, Paris, Wheatland and other schools from east of the I and Racine County are competing.
