The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory and a wind chill warning for an area of Wisconsin that includes Kenosha County.
The wind chill advisory in effect from 4 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday. Wind chill values could reach between -20 and -25 during that period.
Tuesday night’s low temperature is forecast for -26, with winds of 15 to 20 mph and gusts as high as 30 mph, resulting in wind chills of -40 to -50.
Wednesday’s high will get up to just -16. Wednesday’s night’s low is forecast at -28, with west wind of 10 to 15 mph producing wind chill even colder than that.
Thursday’s high will rise a bit more to -4.
