Daniels Dairy Farm to host 2017 Kenosha County Dairy Breakfast June 17

The Daniels Dairy Farm in Brighton will be the host of the 2017 Kenosha County Dairy Breakfast on June 17 from 6:30-10:30 a.m.

From the Kenosha Area Convention and Visitors Bureau:

Attendees can enjoy a morning on the farm that includes: A big farm breakfast, milking demonstrations, a Wisconsin products tent with items for purchase, an Agriculture in Action tent to learn more about the workings of a farm, old-fashioned children’s games, farm toys for sale and more. The breakfast includes scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, pancakes, fresh bread and butter, yogurt, muffin, juice and ice cream. Cost for the breakfast is $6 but children 6 and under are free. Tickets are available at the event only. Parking will be available on the farm, with entrance off of Highway 75. In the event of rain, alternate parking with shuttle service will be available for all visitors. Daniels Dairy Farm is a 7-generation farm that milks 310 Holstein cows twice a day in a milking parlor. 21,000 pounds of milk are produced a day. Crops include corn, wheat, and hay on 550 acres of land. The farm does not use any growth hormones.

The Daniels Dairy Farm is located at 1077 248th Ave. (Highway 75) in Brighton, (Kansasville postal address).
