At 10:37 p.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue and Kansasville Fire Department units are responding to a barn fire in the 29200 block of 41st Street in Brighton.
Horses are in the barn and flames are showing, dispatch reports.
UPDATE 10:44 p.m. — Deputy reports being able to see flames from a distance.
UPDATE 10:47 p.m. — Deputy calls for support controlling traffic.
UPDATE 10:48 p.m. — MABAS box alarm being activated. Departments responding to scene or for a change of quarters include: Town of Wheatland Fire Department, Silver Lake Fire Department, Randall Fire Department, Silver Lake Fire Department, Town of Burlington Fire Department, Bristol Fire Department, Pleasant Prairie Fire Department, Newport Fire Department and Antioch Fire Department.
UPDATE 11:06 p.m. — Twin Lakes Fire Department and Randall Fire Departments now responding with tenders (tankers).
UPDATE 11:24 p.m. — We Energies responding to scene at request of Salem fire command at the scene.
